Unique Seal

篆刻御稽古イメージ画像

Have you ever heard of tenkoku (seal engraving)?
By engraving tensho (ancient seal characters) on a stone a unique and artistic seal can be created.
Usage examples include in a letter to a good friend, and as a rakkan (a stamp of conclusion!) on a picture or a written document.
The engraving of this seal makes it precious as your own personal art.
Lately designs have expanded to include motifs other than Chinese characters, such as flowers, animals, and the roman alphabet.
The expanding image, which includes more personal designs is becoming part of its charm.
